We got a new calf for Christmas!

I know it's been a little bit since writing, but Virginia our late bloomer has had her second calf!  She is turning into quite the baby maker.  We were a little concerned with her, but she's had her second calf this year.  From what it looks like it's another girl as well!!  So to date, this year, we have 10 new babies for the farm, that's pretty good with only having 9 birthing aged cows.  From what it looks like we will have another one on its way soon, seeing that we have some very wide looking cows.  
We've also added some nubian nannies to the mix.  We've been waiting to get some goats and my sister had some that we took over.  They're a little antsy and slowly getting used to us, so we still have some time ahead of us to tame them enough to be able to milk them in the future.
